Westside Park Dedication and Ribbon Cutting-September 9, 2023

On Satruday, September 9, 2023 the Board of Directors of the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District were joined by Sacramento County Supervisor Sue Frost; California State Parks Deputy Director Sedrick Mitchell and Field Representative Philip Norton from Congressman Bera's District to dedicate and celebrate the new amenties at Westside Park.

Park District Board thanks Eagle Scout Candidate for the completion of his Eagle Scout Project in Rio Linda Parks

Eagle Scout Candidate, Caiden Johnson chose to work with the Rio Linda Elverta Recreation and Park District to complete his Eagle Scout Project. Caide built and installed two bulletin boards for Community use. There is one located at Babe Best Park and the second one will be installed at Westside Park when the Gazebo/Restroom Project is completed.
